Pukka's Original Chai tea is an organic black tea with warming herbs.The mix contains five organic and Fairtrade herbs, all sourced from small, independent farmers around the world. Each of these herbs are renowned for bringing a bit of spice into your life, warmth to your heart, and joy to your taste buds!

Ingredients
Fairtrade cinnamon bark (40%), Fairtrade black tea (20%), ginger root (20%), cardamom seed (10%), licorice root. 100% organically grown. Fairtrade ingredients certified to international Fairtrade standards, total 60%.

Pukka Tea ingredients are 100% natural and organic, there are no artificial flavours or sweeteners. All the ingredients are grown by independent (small) farmers so there is minimal impact on the environment. All the packaging is biodegradable, so you can compost the lot!

In detail, the tea bags are made from oxygen bleached paper that is chlorine free and the string is waxed organic unbleached cotton. The paper sachet is clay coated paper and the tag, boxes and outers are all made from FSC certified board.

Pukka Tea bags are plastic free.

Pukka tea bag paper is made of a special blend of natural abaca (a type of banana), wood pulps and plant cellulose fibres. They are staple-free, stitched together with organic cotton. The tea bag strings are made from 100% organic, non-GMO cotton.
